Spring PairsSpring
Pairs is an innovative event developed by the Lowestoft League and completely
different to any other competition played. For one week every season players
meet to play in teams of two rather than the usual three. Played in groups,
each player plays a single set. The event is design to provide a large amount
of different opponents in a single evening. Starting groups are played early
in the week with the qualifiers from each round meeting that Friday to decide
the event. Individual player handicaps
are used to balance the event.
Winners of the Spring Pairs 2010 – Waveney Misfits,
