League Cup
The League Cup is played prior
to the main league matches and is considered by many as a useful warm up for
the main season. Teams are drawn in small groups and play each other in a
round robin. After the group stages the competition is completed with the
knockout stages. Matches in each Group will be played as per the normal
League format but using 21up and without doubles using the Individual Handicaps and Scaling Chart detailed in the handbook and as amended
from time to time. The handicap system will be used throughout the entire
competition. The first player to reach twenty one will win each individual
game. (i.e. No deuce will be played with a service change at 20 all). Points will be awarded one for each set won
as in League play and teams in each group will play each other on a home and
away basis.

Quarter Finals to be drawn by the committee and played before 12th November
2010. Highest scoring second places are calculated by dividing the total
points scored by the number of games played.
